Almost a century serving the winemaking sector of La Rioja

Founded in 1934 by the oenologist Victor Cárcamo Lomba to serve the winemaking industry of La Rioja, the company remains in the hands of the third generation of the family today. Since Spain’s entry into the European Union, it has become an instrumental company which the European Union itself, the Member States and the Regional Government of La Rioja all control, with the role of satisfying environmental requirements, regulating prices in the world of wine, providing technical and administrative support, supplying the market with clean and renewable energy (bio-alcohol and biomass), natural tartaric acid and fine spirit alcohol from marc and wine for making brandy. 80% of its output is exported to France and Italy. It holds the following certifications: Environmental Management from AENOR and IQNET (Standard UNE-EN ISO 14001:1996), Quality AENOR and IQNet (Standard ISO 9002), Licences from the Control Body (Government of La Rioja) as producer-packager-seller of Organically-produced Agricultural Produce in the territory of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja in accordance with the Regulation CEE/2092/91.
